How It Works

How do I book a car on IJAROC?

IJAROC connects you with independent rental agencies in Morocco. To submit a booking request:

  1. 1Choose your pickup city, rental dates and return location, then compare the available vehicles.
  2. 2Select a vehicle and any extras, and review the price, rental conditions and security deposit before continuing.
  3. 3Sign in or create an account, complete the required customer information and authorize payment through an available payment provider.
  4. 4Wait for the agency to accept your request. The confirmation email provides its contact details so you can arrange handover. The rental contract is signed directly with the agency.
How does the payment system work?

Online payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, depending on the methods available at checkout. The full rental amount is authorized when you submit your request: the funds are reserved, without being charged. Payment is charged when the agency accepts. If it rejects the request, the authorization is released; availability of the funds then depends on the provider and your bank.

Does IJAROC charge customers extra service fees?

No. IJAROC charges customers no additional service fees. The agency pays IJAROC a commission. Review the rental price, selected extras and deposit conditions before authorizing payment.

What currency will I be charged in?

Bookings on IJAROC are paid in euros (EUR). Payments in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) concern IJAROC’s payouts to rental agencies, not the currency charged to customers on the platform.

How do I request deletion of my account and data?

Account and data deletion requests are handled by IJAROC support, as described in the Privacy Policy:

  2. 2Identify the account concerned and specify the data or documents you want deleted. Deleting all data or documents associated with the account also closes it.
  3. 3Follow any proportionate identity-verification request from support. A new identity-document copy is not systematically required.
  4. 4IJAROC informs you of the outcome. The retention exceptions in the Privacy Policy still apply, including accounting records, legal claims and the exclusion list for banned accounts.
